Members of the Parramatta Branch of the ABA are advised that the Sugar shaker kits provided to the club by the DPI have been received and distributed as agreed at the last General meeting of this Branch to the Custodians of the Club’s loan extractors.

Northern Rivers - February meeting venue update
Due to weather concerns the scheduled meeting for February at Suzie's has been moved. Merv and Shirley have kindly offered to hold the meeting at their home. The address is 536 Wardell road Dalwood NSW 2477. Start time is as usual. Also a reminder if you are intending on staying for lunch please bring a salad to share.

Northern Rivers newsletter - January 2018
Paperbark will be starting one of its bursts of flowering soon, with reasonable pollen and normally some honey. The only problem is that hereabouts it also tends to be a rain time. Hence, the indigenous name of Bellbowrie, rain tree.
It will soon be time to be looking for the grey ironbark and red gum to show bud if they are to perform in the coming season. To paraphrase a well-known politician, "it is all about the grey ironbark".
